When Elena Fusco opened Bin 100 Restaurant in 2007, Milford became home to an exceptional dining establishment that now draws loyal customers from throughout Connecticut. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, she used her knowledge and understanding of the business to meet the challenges of a difficult economic climate and develop a thriving Italian restaurant that’s recognized as a sensation on all fronts.
Elena’s appreciation for food and hospitality began at a young age, in a large family where her upbringing revolved around family gatherings and good food. As a young student she began working in numerous restaurants, gaining professional experience by learning the business inside out from coat-checking and waitressing, to management.

She eventually fulfilled her dream of opening her own restaurant known for its flavorful Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and varied wine selections. Bin 100 Restaurant has won its share of awards having been rated “Tops in Connecticut” for Prix Fixe by Zagat, and recognized by Connecticut Magazine as a Reader’s Choice “Best Hidden Gem” (2012), and as an Expert’s Pick for “Connecticut’s Best Italian Restaurants” (2015).
Elena attributes her Italian restaurant’s success to hands-on ownership—being present daily to greet guests and ensure they have a great dining experience, as well as managing day-to-day operations. She focuses on evolving the business to provide what customers want and finding a valued niche, which at Bin 100 Restaurant is their Prix Fixe Dinner.

An active member of the community, Elena is involved in many local and national charities and organizations. She is a member and director of the Milford Chamber of Commerce, member of the Milford Restaurant Council, and has participated annually with the American Liver Foundation’s gala event, Flavors of Connecticut, and Milford’s Downtown Wine Trail. She has a special interest in supporting youth and education organizations, both contributing to, and hosting fundraisers at Bin 100 Restaurant for, Lauralton Hall Academy, Boy’s and Girl’s Village, St. Gabriel’s School and Jonathan Law High School among others.
